Back for Good

Many of you t-shirt and hoodie fans may have been wondering "Where the heck is the Trickster?". Not been seen since April, apart from a brief gig for Hello! magazine, I have been travelling in-cog-neat-oh. As you can see from this dashing photo I released to the press, I am still cutting the Dijon.

Weeks have been spent searching, ney scouring, the contryside for the new apprentice t-shirt printer for DOT. All RSPB tests are finished, and Ben is ready for his start date of 6th September 2010.

I know it must be hard for you DOT fans to have restricted access to my life, bear with me, I will be back in earnest once my arch rival Alfie has been turned into a violin.

Rikki Boom Takes Over

With Master of the ancient art of Pen Carrie, Guru Hewitt, and the Mighty Z both away from Dot, I saw my chance of getting in on the top management floor to help the Young Philly and his cohorts. At first I carried his satchel, but as confidence grew I was given screen printing duties and even councelling of Sam, Dave and Gaz in the Print Workshop. Here is a snapshot of me covering the new Number One's back.

You may of seen the pics of me with the Ranks gals on my blog. Just to reassure you all that I am not losing focus on the job in hand, nor is there any prospect of a reconciliation with Madame Schaden-whatsit, despite her comment on the blog. That was in the past and this is 'Meeow' as they say.

You may well ask what does Serge think of the current situation? Well, he is at one with the Boomster. 'Birds Foreva & Cats Must Go' was chalked on his pup easel last week, and I was so proud when I saw it! Not so proud when I saw it on the kitchen wall, or the dining able, or next doors barn, or strimmed into Farmer Pierres field etc, etc.

High jinx, or is he becoming obsessed? Just in case, I am whisking him off along the Loire Valley to get some pup time, washed down with some Winalot Eau de Vie. I will take the opportunity to do a little Dotty sales along the way, just to impress the new partner in the business - the Mighty Z (Zach). I've heard he runs a very tight kyack...sales, sales, sales....

Hi Dot Fans

I have just returned from the highlight of my year...Printwear & Promotion LIVE! I hitched along with others from the Hood; Gaz, Zach, Rich and Boris's Dad Simeon.

Gaz, Zach and Rich took it all very seriously...lectures on web optimisation, transfers, screen printing etc. But me? Sorry crew, I have fallen off the wagon as you can see in the snap shot of me and a couple of kittens from 'Ranks'. Simeon (or Mr. Bantum to you) lead me astray. Gals, gals, gals...that's his motto!

This is my first foray since that infamous episode with Madame Schadenfreuder (and we all know what happened then don't we?)

Macavity the Mystery Cat

My body is a temple. My paws are like iron. I have spent January honing my skills and restricting my intake of unnecessary sweet things. Hence, I have not quite finished off my Dora the Explorer advent calendar!

Allied to that I have worked tirelessly at Dot Promotional Clothing, creating all sorts of Valentines Day memorabilia such as mugs, mouse mats, fridge magnets and even t-shirts. Not normally my domain, but Phil Macavity in the office cannot cope with the orders. I am beginning to suspect that all is not what it seems with Phil. He has a penchant for Whiskers at lunch, and when a job goes well he purrs. Mmmm, food for thought...Rx

Grrrr...or Burrr?

Hi Dotsters! Not sure if it should be grrrrr gnash or brrrr....all is white and slippy and has been for ages. I have found it proper hard to spot that moggy called Puss. He is a mate of my arch foe Alfie and he is white from top to tail. The patches of black ice are ace though coz he descends ‘cartoon like’ as if he has been shot with a catapult!

Solo thermals have been flying out through Amazon, embroidered baby blankets too. No heating required at Dotty HQ as Phil and Zach have been packing stock like bees wings! Little Chef?......say no more, watch this space

I have had to take a sabbatical coz I am being stalked! Last week me and the Design Team, Boris and young Serge, came up with a new t-shirt design called 'We Can Plagiarise Too'. We were about to launch the new designs based on a Kath Cribsomething or other and word got out. I reckon someone snitched on us coz the ink was barely dry when the net began to close in an effort to cat-ch us banged to rights with our bounty of hot off the press merchandise....too hot for our paws!

We have let 'off the shelf' shift 'em on for us on the web via their Amazon contacts. Take heed my feathered friends, I cannot watch your backs for a while until the heat is off so go around in 2's. That stupid nut Alfie will think you are a pear.

News from the kennels.........there are rumours around that a local drinks combo is itching to get our name, Dot Promotional Clothing, allied to their brand. At this time of year, everything is fermenting....... some would say my t-shirt is too!

Here I am pictured sampling some young cider. Can't have too much as I'm constantly on guard against a feline take over. Not obsessed yet, but getting there. If anyone can help with a name for the new collaboration, please let me know. Forerunners so far are 'Fighting Dog', 'Cats Amnesia' and 'Party 4 Paws'.

Rikki is really on holiday!

I have taken the chance to come out to the island without cats. I have not seen one for a week. Too hot, too sandy, too doggy. I'm not sure what the problem is. As you can see, I am checkin' the last of the rays in Rose's LOVE specs and feelin' a little woozy on some local Bonios Fermentos. Life without Dotty for a week has been heaven, although I have seen a few ideas for a new range of t-shirts (more later).

Boris and Humphers wanted to tag along, but they are held at customs with a ridiculous amount of doggy contraband. Neither of them like foreign food and they were held up, red pawed, with muchos Winalotos.

Back to Dotty next week to make sure that all the t-shirts are completed for the 'No Hype' project. I am looking for funding for my 'No Moggy' programme....any help welcome.

Rikki & Serge Go Commando!

Kitted out in our company hi-wicking t- shirts and Regatta waterproofs, we (the daring duo) slither through the undergrowth. Guess what we are up to? Is it moggie baiting? (comme d'habitude), slug collecting? or a bit of wild boar stalking?

No, me and my side-kick are looking for fruits of the season. Brambling is the mission! Buckets of them have been collected. My paws have had more pricks than an embroidery machine. Serge has the only pair of Dot Promotional Clothing gardening gloves and he torments me when I yelp after being barbed again!

After the weekend, I am set to cover the West Coast of France looking for new customers for my promotional clothing range. Sending lots of love to all my fans and another stark warning to my foe. I am filling my kennel with produce, all to be sold to add to my cat fighting war chest.

Hi there Dotters! Been away for a while since I was collared for that Madame Schadenfreuder incident......back now, and how! I have moved kennel to Central France with my pup, Serge, and I am training him in the mystic arts of t-shirt design and printing. Check out my photo to see one I printed earlier... Second on his educational list is the protection of Birdies. There is no better place than La Creuse for his final training. Here we regularly see Redstarts, Buzzards, Woodpeckers, Shrikes, Jays etc, and occasionally Golden Orioles, Kites and Black Woodpeckers. We even heard of a Hoopoe in our area recently! Serge is not quite tough enough yet to take on my old foe Alfie, but we are working out daily, building strength and guile with the lost martial art of Pen Carre, and British Bulldog. I have him on a strict diet of Bonio Light and Eau de Vie. Not long now you big miaow...

Rumours abound that I have a love-child with Madame Shardenfreuder. I've been in hiding in my kennel, waiting for the results of the D.O.G test. The results are back, and it has been confirmed that the small orange pupster is indeed of Rikki-Stock. He goes my the name of Serge. Rose has adopted him, as Madame Sharden legged it and left me in the lurch.

Anyone know this creature? She reckons I 'spent time' with her in Paris last year but I'm not sure (I had too much fermented Winalot juice). She says her name is Madame Shardenfreuder and that there is a knitted pup on the way. Can you help?

Hi there Cat Calmers

They are back. The pesky cats have returned and no mistake. One of my new mates, Bernie Bantam, had his feathers clipped only last week after crossing the path of a rather overweight, over fed and over here cat. And have you seen the size of Bernie? He’s tiny!

I’m calling all to a meet at my new gig venue called the Hive – some hot house for NTU designers just let off the lead. The evening is sponsored by Bernie Bantam who is cute, if a little small. Agenda items are:

1) How to put a cat on a hot tin roof
2) Cats and Fur Balls – The Truth
3) Results from ‘Which Winter Hat Made From Cat’

I met Bernie 2 weeks ago in Paris, not there for the Fashion but for the rugby. Bernie was augmenting his measly wages by moonlighting as the French rugby team’s mascot.

Last week I only did half a set at the Hive, keeps ‘em wanting more. ‘The Slide’ went down a storm, although there were one or two injuries when an impromptu slide started off stage. Don’t forget pups, don’t try this at home. I am a professional.

Just raising some cats, ooops sorry, just cat-chin some rays whilst on a break from the birdy creche. Check out the tubby fella next to me, it's Humphers my mate and it looks like he has eaten a cat. Also do you recognise the backdrop? Yes that's right, it is Perfect Puss' kilt! We disrobed the mottly furball and sent him north of the border. Not heard much from the moggy lobby recently, what a cat-astrophy.

I just can’t believe it! All these pup abuse comments from a feisty feline! Perfect Puss indeed. The last time I heard someone say that, it was my vet commenting on my ear infection.

I know that the felines are trying their best to rid our world of feathered friends, and that’s why I have started Rikki's Birdie Crèche (BC). Before Birdie Crèche (BBC), birds had to fend for themselves. Now with a little help and funding from the pups from the hood, we have a pilot initiative. We are painting a purple tincture onto our baby birds as they fledge, and I’ve been told they will taste disgusting. So watch out Ear Infection, you will be spitting feathers! Don't forget our rallying call Dot fans "Don't let the purr occur"!

In an attempt to put the Alfie situation behind me, I hitched over to Fountainblue in France for a spot of climbing over the weekend. I met some real cool dudes - some Richards and Bens, Pez, Robbie, Nicki, Kylie, Sarah, Phil, Matt and birthday boy Deli Dave. The trip went from the heart of darkness through the cleft of shame and ended in the amphitheatre of finality. I know Dot Fans, this does sound mad as a cat, but I played along with it just to keep them balanced. As you can see from the pics, I have all the kit, so it was Bonio porridge for brekkers and fermented Winalot at night. I do have a couple more piccies of an ace place to park my red trike, but my server has censored them. A bientot!

Big woof out to all the Dotsters and Boston Horace. Most of last week was spent on surveillance at 42 Vernon Avenue, back yard sector, under the cover of darkness. One of my pesky neighbours, a moggy called Alfie, cuffed his skewers through a poor little robin. I am the protector of all that fly, so next time he shows his whiskers I'm going to re-string my guitar with his backside!.

For those of you who follow the market, sales of red trikes are up, but no stocks left of those with squeaks. And news just in.....all places on tap dancing courses across the country are taken, following my last solo at the Hood.

I will leave now with my thought for the day:

My New Mate

As you know, last week was not too good for me, all that trussing up etc. So to make amends I've been out meeting some upstanding members of the doggy pool in Notty Ash as you can see from the picture. This microbe of a canine is T-Bone and he has been places....Mount Killyman something, Lands End to Quaker Oats, so i am hoping that his adverturous spirit rubs off on me. Have any of you Dotters seen him anywhere?

I've been away on an international fact finding mission, over the sea to the Big Apple. Look fans, it wasn't my fault, this chap just said "could you try on these bracelets" and within a pico second I was trussed up like a kipper. No time to see cuz Lynn, no time for research, no time to see the pups, just one long weekend in the slammer with water and Winalot bits......and now I'm dog tired. More next week....
